Person-Centred Counselling in Stirling & Online.

About Me

My Approach

My path to becoming a person-centred counsellor grew from my own lived experience of grief and loss. Experiencing therapy firsthand showed me how powerful it can be to feel truly heard, understood, and supported during difficult times. That experience inspired me to offer the same compassionate space to others.

Alongside my counselling training, I bring over 30 years’ experience in alternative and holistic therapies. This has shaped a thoughtful, whole-person approach to wellbeing, grounded in openness, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s unique process.

Much of my work has focused on grief and loss in its many forms. I have supported people through bereavement, relationship endings, the loss of pets, identity, and life as they once was.

I understand how isolating these experiences can feel. Particularly when grief does not fit expectations.

Having lived and worked abroad for many years, I understand the emotional impact of major life transitions, cultural adjustment, and change. This experience gives me a broad perspective on the personal and professional challenges people bring to therapy.

At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a way that feels safe and meaningful.

If something here has resonated with you, you’re welcome to get in touch. You don’t need to have the right words — we can begin wherever you are.
